Welcome to my Dawn Contest page. The overall quality of the photos isn't that great, and I had to crop out this guy who was in front of me wearing some baseball cap. The good part is that the photo files are very small. I used both my digicam and my film camera, so the quality and photo size will vary from photo to photo. But you should get the flavor of how the contest went this year. But I have to confess, the MC's for this year's contest were not up to the high standards set by both Anthony Daniels (1998) and Peter Jurasik (1999). Now on with the show:

Please hit the Reload button on your browser to see the most current links - I do add things as I get them, or I re-organize minor sections, or I add new links to other websites. Thanks for visiting. Hope you have fun and spread the word. I have scanned/uploaded all my film photos that I also took this year, and incorporated them into the final layout on this page. You may notice a difference between the digicam and film camera photos.

For some reason the MC's decide to host their Dragon Con Choice Awards immediately after the prize winners were announced. This was a very strange turn of events (hope it doesn't happen again unannounced). Here's a few photos of who won the People's Choice awards:
Here's some photos of most of the Dawn contestants after the contest:
Well, that is it for the Dawn 2K Contest. That's all the photos I have. Hope you enjoyed the show.
Joe Linsner is undecided about continuing to host the Dawn Look-A-Like Contest at Dragon Con next year. Please sign this Petition/Address Book to convince Joe to continue hosting the contest again at Dragon Con 2001. Thanks.

If you'd like me to identify you in any of my photos, I'd be glad to do so.
